A design is a construction or activity specification or plan, or the result of that plan in the form of a prototype, finished product, or process. “To design” as a verb expresses the process of developing such a design. A plan, sketch or drawing produced digitally or physically to show the look, and function, or workings, of an object before it is built or made.
